The fantastic
lineart comes from ~
alaisiaga -- coloring is mine, done in Photoshop, and took about two days. The blood splatters actually were the biggest pain, apart from the background, since I was messing around with red brick walls, starry night time skies, and pretty much everything I could think of before I gave up and decided to make it plain grey painted strokes.
I'm having a lot of fun removing the lineart so that I can check out how the artwork looks without it. It helps me see how well the colors look and if I'm shading properly.
